In
2007, there are several famous movies in the world such as "Pirates of
the Caribbean: At World’s End,” "Harry Potter and the Order of the
Phoenix," "Spider-Man 3," and "Shrek the Third.".
In particular, the movie “Once” by John Carny and “Music and Lyrics”
by Marc Lawrence arefamous in the musical romantic comedy movie. They are
well-known as love song. Although two movies are similar, there are
some differences.
There are
three similarities between the movie “Once ” by John Carney and “Music
and Lyrics”by Marc Lawrence. First of all, the theme is about love song.
Second, the plot is main characters make a song together. Moreover, the main
characters had a terrible past life and they have talents about music.
Although there are
some similarities, there are some differences as well. In comparison, the
setting of Once is in Dublin, Ireland. On the other hand, the setting of Music
and Lyrics is in Manhattan, USA. Furthermore, the heroine of Once helps the
hero by composing melodies whereas the heroine of Music and Lyrics helps the
hero by writing a lyric. For the last thing, the ending of Once is they are
back to live their own life. The hero keeps going to be an artist and the
heroine still lives in Dublin to look after her daughter and family. On the
other hand, the ending of Music and Lyrics is happy ending. The song which they
made is successful. They become a lover because of composing the song.
In
conclusion, they have similarities and differences. In my opinion, the two
movies could reach into composing music. The movies run on real situations,
experiences and details of composing music. Moreover, the original soundtracks
from both of movies are catchy and famous. For these reasons, I would like to
recommend you for watching these movies once on your spring or summer.
